Description

Wat Khao Sanam Chai is located outside Hua Hin on a mountain top and consists of white temple buildings with gold accents, flags, and bells including a a chedi (a Buddhist shrine) and an ubosot (ordination hall). The temple can only be reached by foot and offers a panoramic view of the hillside, beach and nearby harbor.

Description

Jao Mae Tub Tim Shrine is a small Chinese shrine near Hua Hin Beach. The shrine is a fertility shrine named after the female goddess Jao Mae Tub Tim and people come here bring offerings in return for happy and healthy children.

Description

Wat Khao Takiab is located on the 270 m high mountain Khao Takiab (“Chopsticks Hill”), at the southern end of Hua Hin beach. The Thai-Chinese temple includes a large standing buddha statue and a guan yin shrine and offers an amazing view of Hua Hin city and beach. The site is home to many Macaque monkeys which can be aggressive so please do not feed them.

Description

Wat Huay Mongkol is located South of Hua Hin near Highway 4 and features the world’s largest statue of Luang Phor Thuad, a legendary southern Thai monk. The temple is located in a park with teak trees and a lake.
